Hello, my name is Stephen Krashen. I was born in 1941 in the windy city of Chicago, Illinois. I am currently a professor at the University of Southern California in the School of Education. I have written numerous papers and books on second language acquisition People know me as an advocate for bilingual education. I have been caught sending over 1000 letters to editors of newspapers on behalf of bilingual education.
